The two reasons for using a radio services firm we hear most often from our clients are it saves them time and money. Since radio is all we do all the time, we have updated data that can be accessed for pitching to include the most up-to-date information. Instead of using a directory that is typically outdated, we have the latest information at our fingertips from stories we have pitched every day.

We have also worked hard to build up a rapport and relationships with stations and networks. So, when we are given a story to pitch on behalf of our clients, we have a good idea of contacts that we know will be right for the story based on reports and stories that have been covered by those same reporters in similar issues. We have access to these reporters, including e-mail addresses and direct numbers, allowing us to get our clients’ stories out as quickly as possible.

Another important factor is we make sure we only pitch stories that are appropriate for specific reporters. Since we work hard to make sure the content we send to stations is newsworthy and timely, and they are familiar with our media relations team, we have an in with contacts that many others do not.
