We will once again make several holiday-time charitable donations. Our passionate team members each nominated a personal favorite, and from those, we randomly selected five organizations as finalists. They are: Bread for the City, Food & Friends, Jumpstart, Latin American Association, and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Now, it’s your turn. Please vote and then ask others to do the same.
Check out the organizations via the links above and then please cast your vote. Once you place your vote you’ll be able to see where each organization stands.
Voting will close at 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 13. Our plan is to award the charities that earn the top three highest percentage of votes with five thousand, three thousand and one thousand dollars, respectively, barring any ties! Thank you for your help!
The heart-breaking tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary is approaching its one-year mark. In its aftermath, Sandy Hook Promise (SHP) was formed with the goal of turning this unspeakable event into a moment of transformation for the Nation. Sandy Hook Promise just launched Parent Together, a national grassroots campaign to educate and empower parents to prevent gun violence in their communities.
News Generation is proud to partner with Sandy Hook Promise to execute a pro bono radio media tour in early December to encourage parents to join the Parent Together movement.
