The Thoth Awards recognize the most outstanding public relations programs and components developed and produced in the Greater Washington area, highlighting the top accomplishments in PR. PRSA-NCC hosts an annual gala each Fall, at which the finalists for the Thoth Awards will be honored. Don’t miss the chance to highlight your organization and your team’s hard work.

This year, the 50th Annual Thoth Awards Gala will be on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the National Press Club, hosted and sponsored by The Public Relations Society of America’s National Capital Chapter (PRSA-NCC). Named after the Egyptian god of communication, the Thoth, pronounced ‘tot’, awards “recognizes and celebrates the outstanding strategic public relations programs and components developed and produced in the Greater Washington, D.C area.”   

Awards are given in a total of 42 categories, including 16 categories that celebrate the best PR campaigns, 18 categories that highlight top accomplishments in PR tactics as well as the Institute for Public Relations Research Measurement and Evaluation Award. Additionally, this year new categories have been added: PR Agency & Communication Team Awards. Finalists in each category will be notified by email, and the winners will be announced at the Gala and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in October.

To enter, create a call for entry submission via PRSA-NCC’s online entry portal. Make sure to submit by Friday, June 22, 2018, at 5:00 pm Eastern Time so you can take advantage of the early bird entry fee. The standard fee deadline is Monday, July 23, 2018 at 5:00 pm Eastern Time. PRSA-NCC members receive a special lower price on awards submissions.
