In partnership with our client, the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR), News Generation has been recognized as a gold award recipient of the 2020 MarCom Award for the Radio Campaign category. AICR approached News Generation to implement a two-year long campaign, and in 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic added a challenge that neither organization could foresee. The MarCom gold award is in recognition of eight radio media tours (RMTs) regarding cancer prevention during 2019 and 2020, completing over 56 radio interviews, and reaching millions of Americans.
Since its inception in 2004, MarCom has evolved into one of the largest and most-respected creative competitions in the world. Each year about 6,000 print and digital entries are submitted from dozens of countries. MarCom is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization, founded in 1995, consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, digital and web professionals. AMCP administers recognition programs, provides judges, and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the community.
